The My Food Service License West Virginia Certified Food Protection Manager course provides food safety training,exams and educational materials to foodservice managers. Students will earn the nationally accredited International Certified Food Protection Manager Certification issued by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals upon passing the proctored exam with a score of 75% or higher. Our certification is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP).

My Food Service License provides online food handler training. Food handler training is required in many areas of Virginia and this course provides excellent food worker training to teach the important principles of food safety to food handlers. Your local regulatory agency may have additional requirements. Please contact your local regulatory agency for more information. 

A food handler is defined by law as a person who works in a food facility and performs any duties that involve the preparation, storage or service of food in a food facility. This program is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) against the ASTM standard.

This course takes approximately one - two hours to complete and, upon successful completion, provides a printable food handler certificate. This certificate is good for 1-5 years depending on county. 

This course is not to prepare workers to take the Food Protection Manager  certification exam. The course to study for the certification exam is the Food Protection Manager Certification Course.

Exam is given at the end of the course and a proctor is not required.
